As part of our expansion, acadon AG purchased a majority share in Bremen-based IBM specialist Lauprecht & Partner GmbH, effective as of 1 January 2011. Both companies have shared a strong business relationship for many years and this purchase is an excellent opportunity to expand and strengthen these ties.

For many years, Lauprecht & Partner GmbH has worked together with well-known companies in the wood industry, offering development and consultation services surrounding IBM AS/400 technology. acadon AG is a leading specialist in the field of Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV and GP software solutions for the wood industry throughout Europe.

With this purchase, acadon is pursuing its goal of being able to provide all of its European customers with a solution ideal for the wood industry. In addition to supporting existing industry solutions from both companies, the partners are working to develop new modules for both platforms. Customers also benefit from additional skilled industry consultants.
