acadon special solution: PIM

Using a PIM system, any publication channels – such as printed catalogues, online catalogues and online shops – can be filled with current product data from a centralised, media-neutral product database.

The solution is based on Microsoft technology and utilises the Microsoft SQL server as a standardised database. It integrates and structures product information previously stored in different application systems – including ERP systems – and ensures that this data is up-to-date, flexible and organised according to usage area.
